
Leadership Team
The "College Leadership Team" is dedicated to the establishment and development of the Secondary School. In addition to aspects of school law and administration, the focus is on developing the overall concept and initiating partnerships with other educational institutions and companies. Furthermore, the development of interdisciplinary structures to prepare students for university and careers is a central responsibility of the team.

Ruben Ebert
Head of College
From September 2019 Ruben Ebert has been the Deputy Head of Secondary School at Josef-Schwarz-Schule. In addition he is responsible for the conceptual and content development of our upper secondary school.
Prior to this, Ruben Ebert was Head of a bilingual grammar school in Stuttgart-Fellbach for five years and, as part of this activity, introduced a programme that combined the international Abitur with the International Baccalaureate. In addition, he taught German and history at private and public schools for many years and was a lecturer at the Institute for Literary Studies at the University of Stuttgart.

Lisa Steinmann
Deputy Head College
Lisa Steinmann studied German and Philosophy/Ethics at the University of Stuttgart and completed her traineeship at a public high school in Heilbronn until summer 2017. From September 2017 to July 2019, she taught both as a German teacher at the Josef Schwarz School and as an ethics and philosophy teacher in the upper school of a vocational high school in Öhringen, taking written and oral Abitur exams in the process. Since September 2019, Lisa Steinmann worked as a teacher for the subjects German and ethics at the Josef-Schwarz-Schule on the one hand, and on the other hand, as a member of the management team, she took over the coordination of the subject areas German as well as all humanities subjects.
Lisa Steinmann has been actively supporting the pedagogical, subject-related and organisational preparations around the establishment of the gymnasiale Oberstufe of the Josef-Schwarz-Schule as a manager since the school year 2020/2021.
From September 2023, she will take over as Deputy Head College of the Josef Schwarz School.

Alexander Wallusch
Head of Social Studies
Alexander Wallusch studied German and History for the grammar school teaching profession at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. Likewise, within this period, he acquired an additional degree in addition to the state examination - the Master of Arts in German Literature. After his traineeship at a state grammar school in Mössingen, Alexander joined the Josef-Schwarz-Schule in 2019. In addition to teaching with us, Alexander also works as an author and publishes in the subject-specific and subject-didactic fields.

Mirjam Kernen
Head of Modern Languages
Mirjam Kernen has been working as a teacher for economics, social studies and Spanish at the Josef Schwarz School since September 2020 and is responsible for career and study orientation. Previously, she taught at a state grammar school in Rottenburg am Neckar. She studied grammar school teaching in Tübingen and Madrid with the subjects Spanish, political science/economics and Catholic theology. Her love of the Spanish-speaking world began during her voluntary social year (FSJ) in Mexico.

Jessica Diana Poser
Head of Natural Sciences
Jessica Diana Poser studied mathematics and chemistry at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen. She gained additional qualifications in science and technology, computer science (ITG) and biology, natural phenomena and technology, as well as a publication for a chemical journal. In parallel to her teaching work in private and state schools, since 2013, she has also been active in timetabling and in school management teams. Most recently, she headed the upper school of a bilingual school in Stuttgart-Fellbach for three years, where she was also responsible for the implementation of the Abitur and the deeper integration of the IB Diploma Programme with the Abitur. At the same time, she was the subject leader for mathematics and the natural sciences.
She has been teaching at the Josef Schwarz School since 2022 and is responsible for the STEM area in the management team.
