Ruben Ebert
Head of College
Since September 2019, Ruben Ebert has been responsible for the conceptual and content-related development of our College. In the meanwhile, he was responsible for the Secondary School of the Josef-Schwarz-Schule until the end of 2022, within the framework of a dual-head model.
Before that, Ruben Ebert led a bilingual grammar school in Stuttgart-Fellbach for five years and established a concept that combined the International Baden-Württemberg Abitur with the International Baccalaureate. In addition, he taught German and history at private and public schools for many years and was a lecturer at the Institute for Literary Studies at the University of Stuttgart.

Lisa Steinmann
Deputy Head College
Lisa Steinmann studied German and Philosophy/Ethics at the University of Stuttgart and completed her traineeship at a public high school in Heilbronn until summer 2017. From September 2017 to July 2019, she taught both as a German teacher at the Josef Schwarz School and as an ethics and philosophy teacher in the upper school of a vocational high school in Öhringen, taking written and oral Abitur exams in the process. Since September 2019, Lisa Steinmann worked as a teacher for the subjects German and ethics at the Josef-Schwarz-Schule on the one hand, and on the other hand, as a member of the management team, she took over the coordination of the subject areas German as well as all humanities subjects.
Lisa Steinmann has been actively supporting the pedagogical, subject-related and organisational preparations around the establishment of the gymnasiale Oberstufe of the Josef-Schwarz-Schule as a manager since the school year 2020/2021.
From September 2023, she will take over as Deputy Head College of the Josef Schwarz School.
