Educational-didactic research has long recognised space as a relevant factor in the learning process. The college of the Josef Schwarz School also takes this insight into account in terms of interior design. Thus, different wings of the building are dedicated to different areas of knowledge:
STEM, languages, social sciences and arts form different thematic worlds within our upper school building and thus ensure a connection between the building and the teaching content for the students.
This concept also continues in the classrooms. These are designed subject- or theme-specific and thus offer an environment that is conducive to learning and motivating.
In the natural sciences, three extensively equipped laboratories are available to our students. These make it possible to carry out performance subject courses in all three natural sciences.
The fourth laboratory is built according to university standards and enables more extensive experiments and long-term project work.
