Pupil Co-Responsibility (SMV)

At JSS, students have the opportunity to take responsibility for their school life. This enables our students to be heard and represented in important decisions.

The SMV (Pupil Co-Responsibility) is made up of class representatives who are elected by each class.  Every pupil can get involved and bring topics and ideas to the SMV at any time. The group meets regularly in person or online, with the Learning House Spokesperson (LH 1 & 2) and the School Spokesperson (LH3) organising the meetings and coordinating with the Liaison Teacher.

The SMV organises School Spirit events throughout the school year, such as Secret Santa, Christmas Charity Night and the Spring Ball, as well as various fundraising activities, such as selling roses for Valentine's Day.
